Dr. Matthew Roberts is the Vice President of State Healthcare Assessment at IPRO, where he provides oversight for New York State Medicaid healthcare provider compliance monitoring and quality improvement activities. These initiatives include provider utilization review, inspections, tracking case reporting, medical record data validation and auditing, and guidance development. Previously, he served as Senior Director of Health Informatics, and prior to IPRO, he managed the informatics and IT program at the Chicago Department of Public Health. Before his tenure with the city, he held leadership roles in communicable diseases, long term care, and preparedness and response at the Illinois Department of Public Health.
